Daily Duties at Twd & Associates:
Provided network security analysis and recommendations for improvements as part of the OCTAVE methodology for TWD’s clients such as the District of Columbia Public School system. Provided network security mapping and intrusion testing as requested by TWD’s clients. Installed and supported the Fidelis Intrusion Protection/Extrusion Prevention systems. Provided management of maintenance, installation, evaluation, and testing related to the daily operation of the TWD’s Local Area Networks. Conducted the research, planning, installation, configuration, testing and evaluation of new and upgraded software/hardware for introduction into the TWD LAN. Performed troubleshooting and corrects problems with the TWD file servers, firewalls, routers, network operating systems and email systems. Monitored incoming/outgoing Internet traffic for unauthorized access/intrusion and inappropriate usage and takes appropriate corrective action.
