• Responsible for review and audit of department policy and procedures. Ensured that all operating procedures are up to date and being adhered to in accordance with the SOX. Reviewed for flaws as well as opportunities for improvement in order to reduce risk to the firm and implemented necessary changes. Identified gaps in risk controls and implemented remediation plans. • Resolved multi-departmental escalated issues when presented with difficult issues that required cooperation from multiple departments for resolution. Utilized knowledge of all departments within the firm and teamed with their management when necessary. Frequently took initiative to resolve issues without external involvement.
