Daily Duties at Twd & Associates:
Managed TWD’s IT team to insure that the needs of the users were being met as efficiently as possible. Managed all of TWD’s ongoing and new IT projects. Managed all TWD’s servers including virtual servers. Built, configured, installed and deployed any new/replacement servers to support the ongoing or new requirements of TWD’s LAN and remote users and clients. Provided network security analysis and recommendations of improvements. Provided management of maintenance, installation, evaluation, and testing related to the daily operations of the TWD Local Area Network and Avaya VoIP telephone system connecting TWD’s 4 separate offices and remote users. Provided management and configuration of Blackberries used by TWD employees and connected to TWD’s Blackberry Enterprise Server. Conducted the research, planning, installation, configuration, testing and evaluation of new and upgraded software/hardware for introduction into the TWD LAN. Provided configuration management and logistical support for the equipment and supplies, including classified systems, necessary for the seamless operation of the TWD LAN. Performed troubleshooting and corrected problems with the TWD file servers, firewalls, routers, switches, VoIP telephone system, network operating systems and e-mail systems. Monitored incoming/outgoing Internet and email traffic for unauthorized access/intrusion and inappropriate usage and takes appropriate corrective action. Supported TWD’s small business clients as needed
