Daily Duties at Aviall Services Inc.:

Placed purchase orders in a timely manner based on stock out report requirements or as received from the inventory planning team. Negotiated price, delivery, quality, and performance requirements and documents the entire fact finding and negotiation process to a document file per the documentation requirements. Performed price and cost analysis as required by policy. Ensured all procurement actions, which commit the company to purchase materials, or services from suppliers were properly documented, reviewed and approved in accordance with Aviall policy and procedures. Acted as liaison between the program teams, and the suppliers to establish a cohesive work group. Managed vendors to ensure quality expectations and lead times were being met. Supported the program by using goals to reduce cost, improved quality and reduced the order fulfillment time by executing with proficiency. Executed price changes from suppliers and update purchase orders. Responsible for purchasing backordered material from known sources, effective order board management to buying, order board reconciliation, discrepancy resolution.
