Daily Duties at Conoco Phillips:

• Monitored production and efficiency of 900 wells in San Juan Basin. Identified numerous opportunities to optimize production and improve procedures. • Continuously evaluated well performance to ensure optimal production and cost reduction via numerous projects, including sizing compressors and plugging/abandoning uneconomic wells. • Secured desirable production level by prioritizing needs and executing rig optimization or intervention projects before problems escalated. • Increased uplift production 15% without additional spending; exceeded target by improving production for all 900 wells instead of 20. Created manual and trained field operators to optimize plungers. Senior management adopted training for other regions as well. • Developed guiding tool for designing bottom hole assembly (BHA). Created method to choose optimal design to increase lifespan of equipment and reduce repair needs or failures. Colleagues across basin adopted tool. • Implemented new ideas for rigless workovers, including inexpensive methods to determine rigless feasibility of each well, which resulted in noticeable cost reduction for certain types of well. • Supported entire basin’s success by preparing reports/reviews for annual audits, sharing personally developed best practices, and providing technical recommendations for future budgeting.
