Enhanced overall business performance by revamping processes: Manage cross-functional aircraft commodities design engineering and integration team: Budgeting and program metrics, direct reports, outsourced staff and partners for completion of deliverables. Collaborated with Supplier Management and Change Management to review metrics and address design, production, sourcing, and aircraft delivery issues. • Expert with Part 21 regulations (JCAB/FAA/EASA/ICAO): Commodity and systems integration design requirements, detailed engineering definition, build to design / QMS, and supplier management. • Extensive experience coordinating with regulators and aircraft OEMs for rules interpretation and compliance. • Assess technical and schedule threats during 787 aircraft build and delivery: Identification and tracking of production risks with Boeing and partners (Alenia, KHI, FHI) and suppliers: Special Change Notices (SCN), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), rework, travelled work, escapements, etc. and recovery to delivery schedule. • Relationship with OEM Supplier Management (SM) to elevate vendor and partner quality and design-to-build issues, quantify risks and implement contractual solutions to maintain and or recover aircraft build and delivery schedule.
