Daily Duties at Centex Studies, Inc:
Coordinate clinical trials, from inception to completion for a Site Management Organization (SMO). Accountable for patient recruitment and enrollment, data and queries, and timely reporting. Manage all site initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits with CROs and sponsors. Supervise and train 10 recruiting employees at 2 sites and 4 study coordinators; ensure qualified staffing for each trial. Serve as main point of contact with contract research organizations (CRO) and interact with sponsors, physicians, and site personnel. Prepare trial-specific documentation including Institutional Review Board (IRB) correspondence, study records, and ongoing review and close-out reports. Create detailed patient screeners per clinical trial protocol specifications; Develop strategies and tools for patient recruitment and retention. Ensure regulatory compliance. Coordinate SMO recruitment and enrollment goals with budget for advertising. Conducted weekly meetings, GCP/ICH, and protocol training programs for clinical staff and members: Increased patient volume and retention from 6 to over 50 patients per week. Generated new business by cultivating relationships with doctors, nurse practitioners, and physicians. Established partnerships with recruitment vendors such as Studykik, Acurian, Clinical Connection, TCN, ePatient Finder, Ascent, Three Wire, PAREXEL, LeapCure, and Galen Gateway.Guaranteed compliance with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, and ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines by maintaining regulatory binders for over 30 clinical trials. Created a thorough review process of startup document and maintained weekly clinical trial progress reports for SMO president, sponsors and CRO. Conducted database mining for multiple physician practices and screened patients for over 30 trials. Effectively identify adverse events and serious adverse events (SAEs) and quickly implement follow-up activities to resolve problems.
