Daily Duties at Vention Medical:
Contract engineering developing new products for start-ups and established companies. Developed products from concept through to production using all level of the product development processes. Using my skills in DFMA designed and guided other design teams through the process of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly for cost effective and reliable products. Sample of projects I worked on: Prostrate Biopsy tool with optical fiber to read healthy and cancerous tissues, Catheter delivery system to place IVC filter to block blood clots, steerable catheter systems, surgical blade delivery system, and mechanical pressure system for IV bags.
