Daily Duties at St. Joseph Health System:

Under the direct supervision of the IT Admin Director, perform a variety of functions as the administrative assistant, computer technician, & telecommunication tech. - Over-site of normal office functions. - Scheduling for work orders to be completed and assigning them to different techs in the field. - Repair pc's or rebuild from DOS if needed. - Created several programs for different departments from Access. Departments required a way to log and report different types of statistics monthly and current method was tedious and not giving the results needed easily. Reporting systems were created and implemented in 3 dept for different reporting reason. Used these reporting programs for about 5 years each. - Telephone numbers / leased lines / Fiber lines - created database reporting system and started from scratch at finding all of the hospital active lines and what areas they were assigned to. Previous employee had not kept this information. Was able to document and follow all lines used and owned by the hospital and able to disconnect around 50-75 unused or dropped lines. Logged and trended out savings for these disconnections and found a large savings in them. - Prepared and conducted excel learning course for hospital employees multiple times a year. - Assisted employees with questions or gave assistance with any Microsoft programs. - Oversight of Microfilming Department - Assist with microfilming if backed up with work. - Handled all school to work students schedules and directed them to assignments within the department.
