Daily Duties at Meijer, Inc.:

First line responsibility for 31 stores spanning 3 markets (Columbus, Dayton & Indianapolis) with secondary responsibility for 19 stores spanning 2 markets (Cincinnati and Lexington-Louisville). • Case Management for discipline and terminations, as well as data entry and record keeping of same for all levels (hourly through store leadership). • Management of the Grievance and Dispute Resolution Process through the involvement of Operations Leadership and Union Representatives as well as grievant; ensuring resolution to maintain company culture, uphold policy and procedure and control cost. • Similar responsibility for arbitrations, EEOC charges, legal suits, Peer Reviews, etc. • Work with leadership, team members and customers to resolve complaints, work issues, “silent whistleblower” alerts and other various types of “people issues”. • Provide education/training to Operations Leadership on a variety of Human Resource issues: ADA, FMLA, Workers Compensation, Leave of Absences, etc.
