Supervised 4-person general accounting team. Ensured financial statements were prepared and records maintained in accordance with GAAP rules. Worked closely with external and internal auditors. Communicated with hospital administration and campus department heads on financial matters, including tax returns and cost reports. • Supervised month-end closings, reconciled account balances, and maintained the interface between the general ledger system and the hospital’s patient accounting system.
