Daily Duties at Conexant Systems Inc.:
Reporting to the Vice President of I.T Infrastructure and Operations, coordinated simultaneous Infrastructure Projects across the U.S., Asia, and Europe. • Supervised up to 50 I.T. staff members in support of 40+ locations • Managed operating budget of $2.5MM and capital budget $500K. Conducted TCO studies. • Streamlined Helpdesk Operations to reduce staffing requirements and save $200K annually. • Integrated the Infrastructure for six acquisitions in the U.S. and Europe. Implemented standard data servers, email servers, desktop applications, telephone switches, and WAN connectivity. • Split corporate networks, data, and email systems for spin-off of Mindspeed company. Wrote Transition Agreement. • Installed antivirus protection for 4000+ clients and 300 servers worldwide, using McAfee Groupshield, Netshield, VirusScan.
