Daily Duties at Ibm Global Technology Services :
After being outsourced to IBM from Qwest/CenturyLink, I became a security focal and team leader for UNIX systems and responsible for making sure that servers were being scanned for CenturyLink security policies and that the servers were being put into security compliance. This job required that I architect two Linux Redhat servers to run Oracle and LAMPP for our infrastructure tool applications I would need to write in order to support the IBM and CenturyLink outsourcing contract. On these servers I was the Oracle DBA, Apache Administrator, and Full Stack Developer and application support for these tools. This job required that I interface with all the IT support teams and provide assistance, support, and training as needed. I also lead weekly calls with clients to receive customer input for product enhancements and to provide release schedules for new features and to give them time to do testing before a new release was installed. This job required that I have a high degree of knowledge of UNIX, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, SQL-Loader, SQL Developer, MySQL, SQL Server, DBA, Apache, PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap, jQuery, Ajax, Shell, Perl, Microsoft Office Tools, PHPStorm (IDE), Visual Studio (IDE), VB, ASP, .NET and C language. This job required that I have good problem solving skills, good client facing skills, be one who is willing to train and help others.
