• Liaised with onsite and offshore stakeholders to identify business problems, translate them into formal requirements, organize these into process flows, and leveraged technical teams to deliver projects for a US banking client • Managed end-to-end responsibilities across the SDLC and successfully delivered a financial report generation project using SQL, Java and Qlikview with Agile methodologies for a US insurance firm • Spearheaded an accelerated reporting project leading to savings of 30 hours per week for insurance analysts by automating and resolving discrepancies in financial statements and by providing solutions as a SME. Used advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Macros, Vlookup and VBA • Performed reviews of finalized requirements to ensure consensus between business and IT teams • Responsible for project scheduling - adhering to agreed timelines and communicating current project status • Compiled ad-hoc reports for actuaries to quickly understand insurance risks and set premiums for future policies • Supported Project Managers with status updates, documentation and change management • Programmed code in SQL, Java, Javascript and Mainframe for applications performing transaction processing, inventory management and report generation and for clients across different domains • Coordinated UAT to ensure quality and to obtain business signoff on application functionality
