Daily Duties at Fed Ex Express:

Managed all aspects of facility and Sort equipment maintenance (24/7) for a fortune 500 company With approximately 1 million square feet combined within a nine Bldg complex. Managed Maintenance staff of 30 – 50 Technicians operating 24/7 365. (Alliance Airport) Managed all Airport and (DGO) Domestic ground locations, throughout the Southeast & Southwest markets. (25 Airport ramp facilities & over 250 domestic ground locations) Managed FedEx Field Maintenance Specialist’s domiciled in various markets in the Southeast & Southwest. Tasked with performing preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on all facility and sort equipment. Developed and implemented PM program on all equipment which generated 1,900 PM’s to be completed every month. Tasked with developing a 3rd shift sort maintenance crew, which ensured all equipment was available and operated as designed during critical sort hours. This ensured there were no aircraft departure delays. Managed all capital expenditures and expense expenditure utilizing monthly reporting systems. Managed the monthly invoice accrual processes. Managed annual budget of 4.5 million for all maintenance operating cost. Managed annual field budgets of 3.5 million for all maintenance operating cost, Southeast & Southwest Markets. Tasked with processing & tracking daily invoices for all vendors and sub contractors. Managed all primary (MRO) vendor and sub contractor contracts. Managed all required contracts throughout the Southeast & Southwest markets, developed scopes of work developed the ROI, RFP bid selection and awarding contracts. Managed daily work order request from field locations utilizing vendor call centers & FedEx call centers, dispatching contracted vendors to multiple locations daily. Managed all back up power generation for the facility, utilizing Ten 1.5 KW CAT Generators, including fuel tracking and purchase. Managed all weather events, (Ice & Snow) to ensure facility was operational for employees and Aircraft. Secured snow & ice removal equipment for on site staging utilizing vendors. Charged with securing new & renewals of SIDA ID Badges for all maintenance techs and vendors. Managed and tracked all corporate tool inventories. Implemented part usage process, which allowed tracking of all new equipment &new part usage on facility and sort equipment. Tasked with equipment and part RMA process and repairs. Managed monthly Preventive and corrective maintenance audit processes through out the Southeast & Southwest markets. Managed onsite Janitorial vendor with 25 custodians operating 3 shifts per day 5 days per week. Tasked with ordering and tracking all supplies used by janitorial crew. Managed the monthly on-site sub-contractors at Alliance Airport, from Pest control, landscaping, fire systems, fuel systems, uniforms and mats and paper shredding.
