Daily Duties at Care Sync Inc.:

• Lead design, engineering, and implementation of secure electronic connections between CareSync applications and client EHRs for the purpose of transferring patient demographic, clinical, and financial information in order to support care coordination for hospital systems and provider practices. • Successfully connected to over 30 EHRs, covering more than 100 hospital and provider organizations in 33 states. • Established interoperability pipelines that transmitted 100’s of thousands of clinical documents per week. • Identified and transmitted data for more than 500,000 patients eligible for chronic care management services by their providers. • Researched, interviewed, and selected third party software vendor solutions to integrate with CareSync applications to provide additional interoperability solutions and product flexibility. • Designed interoperability solutions utilizing HL7, API, Secure Direct Address (Blue Button), and CDX (proprietary) technologies. • Participated in strategy development for interoperability and the roadmap for CareSync. • Developed and managed both the short term and long term roadmap. • Designed product market and customer facing supporting materials. • Produced specifications for development and performed testing to ensure that development met business and design requirements. • Collected, synthesized and prioritized customer feedback, using a combination of live customer feedback sessions and additional feedback mechanisms as input for future roadmap. • Identified and offered alternative solutions to clients if required technologies were not supported by their EHR. • Worked with interface production team and development to create the market, business and functional requirements documentation. • Managed the backlog and worked with the Interoperability VP to drive the production plan.
