Daily Duties at Whole Foods Market, Inc:
Effectively manage the regional fiscal performance and programs for the Seafood Category. Tasked with driving fiscal performance through the implementation of programs while meeting exemplary retail standards. Additionally, oversee purchases and margin performance for the entire south region. • Perform extensive R & D research on behalf of the region for both Meat and Seafood commodities • Draft, review and publish HACCP plans for ready-to-eat, smoked and vac-pack items sold in stores. • Provide key assistance in the planning and execution of new store openings ensuring that Whole Foods standards and practices are met. Subsequently monitor performance of sales, inventory and resource allotment. • Accurately monitor and maintain global sustainability standards through MSC logging. • Liaise with new suppliers through the on-boarding, distribution and sale of new products • Draft and implement Team Leader new department training documents and materials. Produced the training pathways for Associate Team Leaders. • Recognized as the primary point of contact for 16 business units.
