Daily Duties at Leica Biosystems:

• Manage Supply Chain relationships with both internal and external customers by monitoring, trending and analyzing their key performance indicators through dashboard metrics. • Implement and lead 4 International S&OP meetings. • Reduced back orders in our UK plant from $625K to $22K • Manage global inventory levels for 4 different product lines, 14,000+ SKU’s - totaling over $7M. • Manage 9 employees; 5 in the USA, 4 in the UK. • Removed/consolidated SKU’s saving over $25K. • Increased On-time delivery from North America DC 89% to 96% • Negotiate contracts for 3PL and suppliers. • Conduct and participate in special projects related to Supply Chain improvements for all regions. • Develop people by setting clear expectations and enabling execution by supporting individual growth; encouraging opportunities to develop new knowledge and skills. • Manage and challenge the team to improve processes and efficiencies to drive continuous improvement. • Gather Voice of Customer from key stakeholders (Executive Management, Sales, Operations, Product Managers, etc) to maintain and evolve effective supply chain strategies • Work as a liaison between 3 Regional VP of Sales and 3 GM’s of manufacturing sites to ensure that we are maintaining takt and meeting sales. Improve transparency and communication by providing global open order/backorder reports 3 times per week and expanding on Global S&OP calls. • Responsible for setting global inventory levels of all finished good products; balancing inventory levels with high on-time delivery. Inventory Value of $26M USD. • Responsible to standardize all supply chain processes and implement globally. • Increased Global On-time delivery from 91% to 95% over the last year. Increased North America on-time delivery from 96% to 97% last year.
