Daily Duties at Safran Helicopter Engines:
Deliver product and technical support through training and documentation updates for company and vendor employees. Manage continuous improvement / change management programs through resource planning using KPIs, analysis, and demand / capacity forecasts across various departments. Establish “Centers of Excellence” groups within various departments to maximize workflow efficiency. Improved plant safety performance record through training and implementing procedures concerning safety compliance, hazard elimination, and accident prevention. Responsible for the development, coordination and approval of production equipment and configurations for the various departments and vendors. Guide personnel and management with the development of operating procedures and work instructions that can affect production and financial impacts of the business. Train and coach personnel in the implementation of programs that align local procedure with corporate goals and objectives. Manage and administer projects as needed to maintain organizational efficiency. Responsible for implementing audit processes, including containment and corrective actions to remedy deficiencies. Proactively reduce variation and eliminate defects through Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
