Daily Duties at Centra State Medical Center:
Started as assistant night charge nurse for post partum unit in the hospital full time. Later transferred to Community education specializing in maternal/child education for expectant parents, grandparents, and nannies. I created or rewrote courses to reflect community needs. I also filled in with mommy and me classes. I taught community CPR. worked with outreach driving and manning the hospital van giving information, and taking community blood pressures. I facilitated an infant loss group and a Lyme disease support group.
