Daily Duties at Veterans Administration Medical Center:
Provided administrative support services to the Facility Management Service program Acted as the Facility Management liaison coordinating with the VA contracting office and various services for maintenance service contracts of non-medical and building service equipment Developed business plans and executed the plans including budgeting, projecting and cost management Responsible for the recognition of heavy, industrial equipment from an operating and safety perspective Responsible for managing projects from conception to final commissioning Monitored financial/fiscal activities while ensuring vendor-related equipment maintenance records/reports were accurately maintained Reported and processed FMLA applications, LWOP reports and VLTP program Coordinated project task with project stakeholders Maintained and updated project materials, documentation, business flows, and lessons learned Created a Stand Operations Process (SOP) to standardize the VAMC purchasing process Responsibilities includes providing inventory management activities skills while ensuring the material management for new equipment are compliant. Maintains all automated inventory measures that progresses the application of equipment. Responsible for maintaining an up to date inventory of spare parts, supplies, and ensuring the availability of items needed for the daily tasks associated with inventory management. Skilled in completing procurement packages when the cost of a purchase exceeds the individual transaction limit of the card. Operates the computer to manage the various control points for all posted and unposted items that are repetitive. The duties include transactions between the computer links between GIP, Integrated Funds, Distribution, accounting and distribution, FCP, FMS, PIP, NPPD and CPRS. Utilized the skills of a variety of software programs that are associated with the supply chain daily practices which includes word processing, file management, excel spreadsheets, and communication skills such as MS outlook. Expert using MAXIMO System and use the system regularly to monitor and distribute work orders and service requests in Vista. Provided incoming and outgoing materials for construction projects, governmental acquisition, and the return of inventory. Began requisitions while ensuring pledges are within approved amounts. Ensures appropriate inventory alterations, using appropriate surplus procedures, handles equipment return for credit. Timekeeper for Facilities Management which consists of compiling the employees time work in the pay period so that pay is issued for the upcoming payroll. Compliance of record keeping duties complied with federal and state timekeeping laws. Calculated employees time sheets or time cards from scratch or verified the time recorded was in the automated system. Coded and posts the time according to its category.
