Daily Duties at Michaels Stores:

● Source and drive the strategic direction and development for 2000+ skus and $160M in private label sales. ● Collaborate cross-functionally with design team to accurately interpret seasonal fashion direction, as well as recognizing assortment opportunities and merchandise trends. ● Sell ideas and items to internal buying team ● Manage a highly successful cross-functional team comprised of resources for design, in-house and global sourcing, buying, marketing, quality, supply chain and packaging. ● Analyze and interpret product performance in order to properly identify action for future development. ● Conduct competitive analysis and market research to guide development direction in order to maximize product. ● Key understanding of Time and Action tool, lead weekly meetings with key stake holders to ensure we have the right items at the right price at the right time
