Daily Duties at Emc Corporation:

Perform strategic analysis for our clients and bring financially sound and forward-thinking solutions that dove-tail into the future goals of the corporation. This is done by working with Executives, directors, managers and stake holders to define, validate and present sound deliverables based on their feedback. I’ve been required to do this for a diversified customer base using a multi-tiered level of subject matter focused on the company’s enterprise infrastructure to include LAN, WAN, Storage, Servers and applications factoring in the financial impact of my decisions. I often work on several large projects simultaneously while performing both strategic and tactical work effectively, efficiently and creatively. • Contribute to the development of strategies, policies and best practices through participation in management meetings and other direct contributions. Often in customer meetings as a trusted architect. • Develop and cultivate strong customer relationships ensuring a ''Customers for Life'' relationship. • Support the design and development of the technical content defined in the statement of work. • Prepare technical architectural and implementation design documents and work with the project management team to develop the implementation plan. • Provide onsite Project Management support / residency on an “as needed” basis. • When appropriate, work closely with the other project management teams to define project deliverables and schedules. • Participate as a technical expert in the pre-sales qualification. • Responsible for the delivery of the technical architectural design, strategies and plans that will be a delivered in the engagement. • Primary lead - Application Virtualization Practice team for VMWare and Microsoft SQL including performance testing. • Adhere to proper escalation and change control procedures both on and off customer sites. • Responsible for the creation of proposals that address current and evolving client requirements. • Prepare, maintain and submit activity/progress reports and time recording/management reports in accordance with published procedures. • Lead project quality assurance activities, including performing technical QA reviews on components for a team and performing QA code documentation. • Conduct performance analysis, architectural design and management meetings concerning overall corporate IT forecasting for enterprise customers. • Install and support EMC Enterprise wide monitoring /performance products as needed. • Identify and leverage EMC and partner resources in order to satisfy the technical needs and objectives of the implementation
