Daily Duties at Comcast:

Responsible for Comcast’s reporting obligations to the F.C.C. (“FCC”) and D.O.J. (“DOJ”) pursuant to Comcast’s acquisition of NBCUniversal. • Designed, launched, and managed Comcast’s compliance database system for Comcast’s and NBCUniversal’s compliance obligations with the FCC and DOJ. • Developed and generated reports for submittal to the FCC and DOJ. • Initiated the on-boarding of a document management system utilized throughout the legal departments of Comcast and NBCUniversal. • Independently vetted third-party database vendors and made recommendations to IT and senior legal management. • Managed state regulatory agencies’ filing deadlines in the attempted acquisition of TimeWarner Cable. • Produced training course materials and provided in-person training for business unit executives. • Independently monitored compliance with a multi-year FCC Consent Decree and analyzed results for subsequent call center training requirements. • Developed and administered a knowledge database for internal review of legal interpretations concerning compliance requirements mandated by the FCC and DOJ. • Provided substantive legal review of customers’ complaints filed with federal and state regulatory agencies. • Worked closely with and reported directly to the Vice President of Transaction Compliance.
