Responsible for managing Bentley’s corporate compliance obligations pursuant to various international laws and regulations. • Created compliance policies for the European Union’s (“EU”) General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) concerning data subjects’ rights and breach notification procedures. • Managed Bentley’s cybersecurity insurance policy and made best practices recommendations to business units. • Conducted global training for employees regarding the EU’s Modern Day Slavery Act requirements and created a policy and procedure to ensure on-going compliance. • Reviewed and compared contracts between Bentley and its vendors. • Drafted a press release statement in response to a cybersecurity breach of Bentley customers’ personal data. • Investigated and researched confidential employment matter. Presented documentation for CEO outlining policy violations and the potential risk to the company.
