Daily Duties at Sae Baja:
• Delegated and Supervised tasks to multi-disciplinary team of 30 members to design vehicle to ensure component integration • Benchmark and brainstorm for Product initiation step - requirements, specifications followed by preliminary design. • Defined Concept of Operation to cut down possible failure during Product realization step • Developed Roll cage along with brackets and mountings in Pro-E and ANSYS Mechanical with major focus on ergonomics, weight reduction, material, and fabrication technique. CAD Assembly of vehicle and generated 2D drawings with Tolerances • FEA Analysis included Front impact, Torsional Rigidity, Side impact, Rollover, Modal analysis; resulting in 15% weight reduction. • Conducted DFMEA, subsequent risk assessment then took action to reduce vital Risk Priority Number • Report preparation for Risk management, Safety, Cost evaluation, Trade off assessment & System lifespan cycle
