Daily Duties at Us Army And Army Reserves:
Managed a team responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance on strategic multichannel satellite communications ground terminals, systems, networks, repeaters and base stations, fixed and portable equipment, multiplexors, routers, switches, STT satellite systems, and telephone equipment. • Performs operations and quality control tests on Digital Communication Satellite Subsystem (DCSS). • Conducts radio coverage tests and surveys to identify communications sites providing the optimum coverage. • Identifies and reports electronic jamming/deception and applies appropriate Electronic Counter Counter-Measures (ECCM). Performs complex and multifaceted tasks associated with stressed and unstressed network operations. • Supervises and performs alignment, control functions, and direct support maintenance on assigned communications equipment and ensures backup equipment, spares, and repair parts are available to sustain system operations.
