Daily Duties at Colonial Metals Inc:

• Assisting in daily operations, precious metal refining focusing on Gold, Platinum, Palladium, and Ruthenium. • Product experience: Hydrogen Tetrachloro Aurate (III) Solution, Palladium Chloride Solution, Platinum Chloride Solution. • Navision experience, track and record metal incoming from vault and tracking different process streams. Insure all inventory is accounted for and recycling streams are optimized. • Assist with government contract metal refining; Palladium and Platinum. Ensuring projects meet client specifications and ensure equipment and personnel meets contract obligations. • Hazardous Waste Material handling and response, participate in emergency Haz-Mat response team. • Hazardous material packaging and shipping experience. • Train new employees, standard operating procedures using ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. • Monitor production schedules and objectives and take any improvement actions to meet production quality and quantity goals. • Engage engineering to resolve processing and equipment issues and schedule maintenance on down time days. • Work closely with the day shift engineering staff and other team members to improve shift performance. • Implement and maintain safety standards as required by law and company policy.
