Participated in business process/needs analysis at customer sites to help facilitate a quick creation of software for the customer. Wrote descriptions summarizing the roles, responsibilities, tasks, educational background, and other attributes of the users who will interact with the software. Developed use cases using HL7 messages describing how users currently perform key job tasks, and how they will interact with software to accomplish specific performance objectives. Wrote detailed HL7 requirements describing the functionally necessary to meet specific business and process needs. Participated in and capture ideas and decisions from design and modeling sessions. Wrote functional HL7 specifications that in-house and contract software developers will use to implement the functionality of individual module and features. Assisted with documenting the underlying application architecture for each product. Developed presentations, white papers, feature summaries, release notes, video demonstrations, demonstration scripts, etc., for the sales and marketing organizations. Wrote documentation explaining how users can perform relevant business tasks with specific features and functionality of the software. Provided information for materials that both the company’s personnel and customers will use to train different groups of end users.
