Operations Manager/Facility Manager/Configuration Control Authority for an analytical laboratory, transitioning to full D&D, while continuing to analyze samples in support of the plant mission. Ensured building operations and activities were conducted within the Authorization Basis. Responsible for the safe conduct of all activities within the facility, including compliance with the following documents or agencies: conduct of operations, EPA, DOE, OSHA, Nuclear Criticality Safety manual, and other regulatory doctrines used at the site. Qualified as a Responsible Manager for the Integrated Work Control Program. Trained and certified as an Incident Commander for emergencies, such as: injured personnel, fires, chemical spills, criticality events, etc. Performed monthly assessments on the conduct of operations and integrated work control processes as they were implemented in a nuclear facility.
