Daily Duties at Pacific Gas & Electric:

As the Field Engineer, I would make sure all necessary requirements were completed prior to the PG&E Pipeline crews coming in and making and completing their installations. I would meet with contracting plumbing companies, underground utility locaters, and USA prior to the start of work, verify that all existing underground utilities have been located and marked, and than notify the PG&E Foreman. Once the PG&E Pipeline crews completed the installations, I would than notify the Underground Utility Locating Company to return to the projects and verify the that the PG&E crews did not damage any of the underground utility lines.
