Duties included supervising reporters, photographers and volunteers who worked together to produce bi-weekly newscasts, documentaries and public affairs programs. Served as a city spokeswoman when needed and hosted annual seminars for the city’s public affairs specialists on the art of writing attention-grabbing press releases and speaking to the media. In addition to anchoring the newscasts, I moderated the debates between city council candidates.
