Daily Duties at Southwestern Oklahoma State University:
Delivered project-based classroom and online instruction for undergraduate and graduate Education majors. Contributed to online curriculum and course development in support of the Education Department; introduced unique learning management systems designed to train the teachers how to deliver content to early childhood education, special education, and general education populations. Focused on developing skills to manage diverse learning styles. Served as subject matter expert to pre-service students regarding legality issues of special education and its impact on students, families, communities, and professions. Built Autism training programs, co-authored grants with math and science teachers, co-sponsored the local student SCEC Student Council for Exceptional Children campus organization, and created an annual Kids Fest with SWOSA WECA to build family engagement.
