Daily Duties at Regional West Medical Center:
• Supervise and train new therapist's hired. Sought and implemented Americorp program (a paid internship program). • Supervise intern's completing hours for licensure. • Develop programs for conducting group, individual, family therapy session, psychosocial histories, collateral information, recommend outpatient follow-up care upon discharge per physicians order's, dictate psychosocial histories, provide directed work for patients, work with unit nurses, social workers, physicians to provide mental health care, work with families and loved ones of patients to provide understanding and education of patient's illnesses.
