Restarted a capacity planning capability and organization. Developed and maintained a 5-year capacity plan. Built hybrid forecasting models to predict resource usage based upon business forecasts. Launched an application performance engineering function. Delivered services for both distributed and mainframe computing platforms. Delivered first 5-year capacity plan in almost a decade, allowing the company to limit resource purchases while still delivering improved application performance. Consolidated multiple, platform-centric operations teams into a single, cross-platform planning and operations team. Developed a series of resource forecasting models based upon key business driver data and traditional time series data.
