Daily Duties at Michigan State University:
Built a new team to support the Electronic Health Record and developed a service plan for a complex outpatient health system in a University setting. This required difficult conversations, leveling silos, building trust, and implementing a “new” way of tracking projects. Developed metrics with prioritization to promote data based decision making and monitor progress. Stakeholders include physicians, clinical management staff, administration, and front line clinical staff. Coaching, reporting, workflows, Six Sigma/Lean approach applied to daily activities.
