• Managed ~150+ contracts in the utilities industry from a financial perspective • Looked for profit improvements possibilities and applied resources as needed • Performed industry month end close and journal entries • Prepared accurate monthly forecast for the industry working with project teams to ensure no leak against price case • Monitor and report month end contract yields and compare with price care. Report any discrepancies and take action to correct • Calculate monthly/quarterly revenue outlook for fixed price projects using the percentage of completion method of accounting under GAAP • Certify monthly backlog for 150+ contracts for financial reporting and compliance regulations • Prepare monthly billing outlooks for both best estimate and fixed price contracts taking into consideration the contracts with percentage of completion cash flow method of accounting any holdbacks as outlined in the contract • Analyze, prepare and record monthly journal entries needed to accrue, defer or move revenue or expenses in accordance with contract guidelines and GAAP accounting
