• Managed accounting staff and all financial operations of a $27M Branch • Coached and evaluated daily accounting functions including payroll, banking, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable • Created and managed weekly proforma estimates of monthly P & L and compared to budget and actual at month end • Guided and managed weekly direct labor costs by preparing a weekly report of labor costs vs revenue • Maintained and analyze job costing • Developed internal control procedures in the sales division to enable a clear financial picture for daily management of revenue and costs • Managed, approved and created general ledger journal entries and month end accruals • Prepared and review and reported daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for Corporate • Strengthened controls for accounts receivable to reduce days outstanding • Serve a company liaison for internal and external auditors • Prepared quarterly staff reviews and recommended wage increases.
