Daily Duties at Hanover Co Op:
Direct supervision of 85 employees at the commissary and the four stores' prepared foods departments. ServSafe Instructor and Proctor for the company's 425 employees. Prepared foods pricing and marketing. Menu development, fiscal accountability. Served on the Operations Team coordinating Inventory Control, Communications, Finance, IT, Maintenance, and Education departments. 3.5 years in to my employment, I was offered a promotion to Direct "The Culinary Learning Center". I was responsible for the vision statement for what the kitchen, based in the largest of the four stores, was to become. I developed the curriculum and calendar of classes and events, teaching 40% of the classes myself, and facilitating the rest. Local producers, farmers, brewers, and wine makers were welcomed in to the space , where we had hands-on classes, demonstrations, and symposiums. The program was extremely well received, and the kid camps that we held over the summer were received raves.
