Daily Duties at Cigna Medical Group:
Oversight of operations over multiple health care centers. Design an efficient operating structure and workflow to maximize performance and deliver high quality, cost-effective patient care with the highest level of patient satisfaction. Key Contributions: • Define clinical outcomes and continuously improve operational process achieving profitability, efficiency, and compliance. • Collaborate with medical leadership to design and execute policies and procedures stimulating continuity of care encouraging and supporting the transition from inpatient to clinic, home care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation facilities. • Reorganize to central call center-service standards • Monitor documentation efforts ensuring compliance with HEDIS guidelines, safeguarding quality, minimizing APK, EPK, re-admissions, and enhancing access to care and education. • Ensure HCC capture is appropriate and maximized at all care centers improving revenue capture. • Strategically structured processes to align with metric goals. • Promote employee satisfaction, achieve quality ratings, and exceed productivity targets. • CMS 5-Star rating, 2016. • Daniel T. Cloud Outstanding Practice Award recipient, 2015 and 2016. • Received Patient Centered Medical Home Accreditation for all three clinics.
