Senior Maintenance Engineer, Plant City, FL (2000-2003) Managed projects, inspections, preventive maintenance, turnaround/plant outages and planning/scheduling with a varying team size. Managed multi-million dollar turnarounds including numerous supervisors and both union and non-union craft personnel. Directed the inspection and repair of the seven sulfuric acid storage tanks in the facility. Supervised the preventive maintenance program within eight operating areas and expanded the program to other areas resulting in a reduction in expenses in excess of $200K annually. EHS/Project Engineer, Bartow, FL (1998-2000) Managed and participated in environmental, health and safety audits of all manufacturing and mining complexes, and all bulk product distribution facilities throughout North America and Canada. Project Manager and supervisor of $2.4M capital project for the Plant City complex. Plant Engineer, Plant City, FL (1995-1998) Assisted maintenance and engineering by managing and participating in capital projects, storage tank inspection/repair, welding inspection, welder qualification, welding procedure review, turnaround/plant outages, and documentation of inspection and repairs. Notable projects included $700K repair of three existing cooling towers and the successful re-tubing of two fire tube boilers during successive turnaround/plant outages.
