Daily Duties at Jacobs:
Perform review and evaluation of welding procedures, materials selection and application, Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT), hardness and ferrite testing procedures. Procedures are assessed for compliance to the contract documents that include the design codes, customer specifications and Jacobs specifications. The documents are associated with the shop and field fabrication of pressure vessels, power boilers, heat exchangers, API tanks, process piping, pipelines, structural steel and other equipment. The equipment is designed to conform to the applicable codes of construction and client specification requirements. Applications include refining, chemical and petrochemical with sour, high temperature and low temperature (LNG) services.
