Daily Duties at Sirius Xm:
As the lead in the Production Quality group, tracked, monitor and reported/updated Internal and OEM Partners on acceptance/rejection and resolution progress of accepted known defects. Updates provided to internal and external issue tracking systems as appropriate. Testing new applications on mobile device - this included testing of the new features and working through customer facing concerns to be resolved on their mobile device and on the website. Team Lead for five OEMs - Hyundai, Acura/Honda, Subaru, JLR and Audi for the telematics services within the vehicle. . SME - Siebel and Provisioning (enabled the device through the back-end of the telematics system). Assisted Tier 1 with escalations of OEM facing issues and process the next step needed with escalations or issues. Worked closely with team members to assist with daily incidents, analyze to determine if there are any trends, provide assistance as needed. Provided guidance and feedback as needed for projects for groups through the company based on experience and subject matter expert on various platform - strongest is Siebel with administrative level access. Worked closely with the various teams within the organization to ensure the quality of the software released into production is working as designed with as few defects as possible. Worked closely with various teams within the company to understand opened defects and work toward a resolution. Worked closely with OEMs to assist and triage customer defect and work to resolution. User acceptance testing with OEM into the production telematics system. Documentation of back end process with data from back end system then articulating this information using swim lanes, fault tree analysis, excel (pivot tables) to review with management and OEMs to discuss the best method to resolve the issues. Using Cognos, Siebel Data Warehouse and SQL to pull data from the internal systems to meet the customer's and/ or OEM request. This could include but not limited to data that could be used to correct a bug within the system. This would also include confirmation of the data is clean and if not, assign the appropriate resources to clean. Telmatics services assisted with triaging and resolution: Provisioning of device,researching data through T3 to understanding defects, Emergency services (SOS and Airbag), Vehicle diagnostics / vehicle health report, Geo-fencing / vehicle speed, location, alerts., Roadside, POI Download, Remote horn/lights/start., Stolen vehicle tracking/assistance, Billing of customer services, Mobile App connecting to the vehicle using the customer's smart phone - authentication/testing.
