Conducted research, analysis, and sector reviews in partnership with portfolio managers and traders advising on relative value, bond strategy, and individual credit sensitive issues. Generated and maintained a variety of computer spreadsheets and financial models. Collected industry and company data through sell-side research firms, rating agencies, internal and external databases, trade publications, online sources, regulatory filings and interviews with industry sources. Delivered buy, hold, and sell recommendations for high yield and investment grade credits to portfolio managers and traders based on credit fundamentals, internal credit rating and relative value. Evaluated bank loans and private offerings focusing on credit strength, covenants, liquidity and recovery value. Industry specialization included aerospace and defense, diversified manufacturers, environmental services and real estate investment trusts
