Daily Duties at Ibm Global Services:
• UsingtheITIL/ITSMstandards,designandimplementformalchangemanagementprocessesandpro- cedures for IT applications and infrastructure components. • Schedule,coordinateandmanagemajorreleases.OntimedeliveryasdefinedintheReleaseschedule. • Produceandmanageachangemanagementcalendar,identifyingandresolvingschedulingandtech- nical conflicts as they arise. Coordinate with other IT release management to determine if dependencies exist. • Producescheduleofrequestsforchange(RFCs)formanagingchangestotheliveinfrastructure. • Managethereleasedefectsandreviewanyreportedissuesandapplycriticalthinkingtotheresolution plan for the reported issues. Attend the Go/No Go meeting. • Managementandcommunicationoftestandproductionenvironmentsetup,deploymenttestingtime- lines, attend QA and UAT test status meetings, daily defect meetings, coordinate with deployment man- agement for the Deployment Timeline and Deployment Planning meetings, communicate code freeze date and track lessons learnt. Ensure changes to production have been tested, documented, communi- cated, approved, and successfully implemented. • Trackalldeliverymilestones,designdocumentsandtestcases.Driveadherencetothedefinedpro- cesses and where appropriate initiate training to rectify non-conformance. • Identifyanddocumentchangesthatby-passtheChangeManagementprocessandprovideinformation to the Change Process Owner to address compliance requirements. • Informseniormanagementofenterprise-wideexposuretoreleaseriskandassociatedmitigationplan. • ConductPostImplementation/AfterActionReview(AAR). • Scheduleandhostbi-weeklyChangeControlMeetings. • AssiststheProcessOwnerinidentifyingandprioritizingprocessimprovements. • Administer the change management database, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data. • Work on Corrective ActionPreventive Action(CAPA)to ensure process compliance.
