Daily Duties at Beckman Coulter Inc.:
• Project Manager – Designed, supervised and managed a $5.5 million construction project for new Technical Training Center, including writing the scope, reviewing proposals, working closely with Architects, General Contractor, in-house maintenance group, and all levels of management. • Prepare space plans, layouts, and diagrams representing the project’s objectives and goals for the architect should base on. Redesigned, Labs, Manufacturing Assembly, Shipping / Receiving and Packaging Lines, managed reconfigurations, relocations, including, electrical, plumbing, and compressed air installations. • Manage HVAC systems, Cooling Towers, pumps, water treatment, chillers, condensers VAV calibration controls, dampers, and (PM) Preventative Maintenance schedules. • Develop annual capital spending budgets, cost analysis, and space allocations budgets. • Relocated over 1,200 employees from a manufacturing, and customer service facility, to the headquarters site, (Brea, CA), during three major renovation and construction projects. • Kaizen team leader – Manufacturing Assembly, Shipping and Production Lines
