Daily Duties at Navfac Mid Atlantic:
As a GS-11 Contract Specialist, supported the North Carolina Integrated Product Team (NC-IPT) with the procurement and administration of Construction, Environmental and Architect/Engineer contracts ranging from $3.5M to $50M+. Participated in Acquisition planning, Source Selection Planning, Award Justifications and participated in Source Selection Boards, responsible for reviewing proposals submitted in response to agency solicitations. Performed work associated with a wide range of contract types including establishing and maintaining multiple year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracting methods. Monitored and evaluated contractor performance and compliance with contract provisions in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations. Prepared full solicitation including SOW, PWS development. Performed cost analysis and comparisons of government estimates versus contractor’s proposals.  Received bonus for contributions to a major Design/Build project in which I supported the effective and seamless procurement process
