Daily Duties at Bose Corporation.:

▪ Supervised 6 employees as a Quality Engineer, evaluating their work to fulfill the company’s needs. ▪ Inspected incoming material to ensure it contained the necessary documentation and to ensure it met the company’s criteria and quality. ▪ Coordinated the Material Review Board. Recorded and gave disposition to non-compliant and discrepant raw material and finished products. ▪ Interacted in a global team environment as a liaison between Supplier Quality Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, buyers, suppliers, warehouse supervisors, sister plants and distribution centers. ▪ Audited the finished products of production lines to ensure they met the quality standards, using CMM Machines, Calipers, Dial Indicators and gages. ▪ Assisted in the company’s QS 9000 and ISO 9001 certifications by conducting internal audits and applying corrective actions. ▪ Modified and updated the Manufacturing Procedures of workstations to reflect changes to the assembly line. ▪ Reorganized and maintained over 700 technical files, thereby reducing the file search time by an average of 4 hours weekly. ▪ Evaluated the quality of diverse products, from raw materials to finished products reducing the manufacturing of defective products by 5%.
