Daily Duties at Oregon National Guard:
Principal advisor to the Commander and the Adjutant General, Oregon National Guard. Interacts with senior military leaders and civilian agencies of the Oregon National Guard, Oregon Military Department, and the State of Oregon. Coordinates with three other Commands and the Interagency Director. Duties also entail direct interaction with non-govermental agencies, civilian businesses and private volunteer organizations. Directly managed the Support staff consisting of ten departments and approximately 200 full time and part time prsonnel of the Adjutant General special staff, emergency response, and support missions. Duties included directing, planning, synchronizing, coordinating, and integrating actions of the departments while supporting the State and National Security objectives to ensure the organization maintains a ready operational force for the State and Nation. Responsible for synchronizing and managing key resources and systems across the entire Oregon National Guard to enable adherence to statutory requirements and regulatory controls.
