A continuation of former position with a stronger focus on, managing lab testing, strategy planning and communicating competitive activity and strategy to core leadership teams. Maintained knowledge of internal and competitors’ dishwasher products to understand and improve Whirlpool’s marketing, manufacturing quality and cost improvement planning strategies. Established plans to effectively evaluate products and counter the competitor’s marketing strategy. Acted on behalf of the marketing and the legal departments during competitive claims development to ensure Whirlpool ethical standards were followed and substantiations were feasible. Responded to competitor claims through legal and engineering to ensure Whirlpool’s market position was maintained. Provided field sales training in support of multiple new product launches and answered field sales questions. Led product tear downs, costing and analysis.
